Truly Victorian - features costume patterns from the 1840's to the 1890's, specializing in the bustle era. This is a lovely site that not only sells patterns for vintage clothing, but which also features links to many further useful sites, has a lovely history section, and also has an excellent bulletin board where like-minded vintage clothing enthusiasts can chat, swap notes, show their work, and help each other out etc. Laughing Moon Mercantile - purveyors of sewing patterns, clothing and accessories. A website run by JoAnn Peterson, who supplies authentic vintage-styled corset patterns and the must-have DVD 'How To Build And Fit A Victorian Corset'. Also available are patterns for Edwardian and Victorian garments. The Costumer's Manifesto - a superb site full of further links to sites about all aspects of costume, sub-categorised into areas such as 'Vintage Clothing' or 'Movie Costumes'. Count On Knit - a online shop for knitters offering all different types of needles and a beautiful range of hook-style stitch markers and stitch holders/stick pins.
